TATSIANA’S FIERY FINGERS
Her fiery fingers set the keys ablaze
Sparks flew, fingers racing across the keys
Wildfire music swept through the room
Sending a fire storm of musical flames
Through our ears into our mesmerized minds
Where the music sent synapses dancing with glee
Fiery fingers flying faster, faster
With a blur of perfect timing the fire storm continued
She set our hearts aglow with her flaming music
The fuse was lit, the music ended, the audience exploded
We were thrilled by the gift so audaciously served
Ringing still in our memory her gift goes on and on

"Tatsiana, thank you for all the wonderful teaching you have given my daughters over the years. We are so lucky to have you in the valley. You have taught my daughters to love music and you are amazing at teaching the tools for joyful beautiful piano playing. We love watching your concerts! Your strong, graceful, musical playing is inspiring! Thank you for being such a great teacher!"

" Tatsiana, the program last evening (May 31, 2015) was wonderful--such variety, beautiful collaborations with other musicians. Each piece and its rendering possessed clarity and exquisite musicality. Thanks for all of the ways that you make our Valley (and beyond) better through your life and music. Accompaniment is an art form, requiring a sensitive ability to "dance" with the other(s). You "dance" with grace! American Poet Laureate Maya Angelou's poem could have been dedicated to you!"
Extravagant Spirits by Maya Angelou
Without their fierce devotion
We are fragile and forlorn,
Stumbling briefly, among the stars.
We and our futures belong to them
Exquisitely, our beliefs and our
Breaths are made tangible in their love.
By their extravagant spirits, they draw us
From the safe borders
And into the center of the center ring
There they urge dance upon our
Leaden feet
And to our sullen hearts,
Bright laughter.
Not the crowd’s roar nor the gasped
Breath of the timorous can stay their mission.
There is no moderation in their nature.
They spit upon their fingers
To test the wind of history,
They slip into our bonds and steal us
Away from the slavery of cowardice.
They skin back their thin lips over fanged teeth and
Rocks in hand, in our presence
Face down our Goliath.
These mothers, fathers, pastors and priests,
These Rabbis, Imams and gurus,
Teach us by their valor and mold us with their courage.
Without their fierce devotion
We are only forlorn and only fragile
Stumbling briefly, among the stars.

"Tatsiana, I would like to tell you that your performance at Carnegie Hall was an absolute delight. I am confident in saying that you are officially in my "top 3" best classical pianists. Your beauty an performance both match equally. Today you officially have your first "New York" fans. I say this on behalf of New York and the classical community, you are always welcomed here, and we look forward in anticipation for your next performance here in our great city."

"Tatsiana,
You are one of the most accomplished pianists I have met at SOU. You are so dedicated and talented you will go far beyond our small town in Southern Oregon
Keep up your great work and know you have a great audience at Grace Lutheran Church as well as many friends and fans who appreciates your hard work and talent."
Inge Christ, November 10,2013
Tatsiana,
Mr. Fugitt's poem above says it all and in a mode that's perfect. Poetry.
I remember the great Herbert von Karajan watching a clip of Placido Domingo singing "Nessun dorma." He leaned back in his chair, and uttered one word: "Unglaublich!" "Unbelievable!"
That was my response to your extraordinary performance, Tatsiana! I was stunned, staggered, speechless. (And, anyone who knows me as a founding member of the support group for compulsive talkers--"On And On And On"--realizes what a RARE condition that is!)
Specifically, I was captivated by . . .
*Your mind-blowing virtuosity: I commented to a gentleman after the performance, "How DOES she do it?!?"
*Your exquisitely elegant melodic thread: While virtuosic, I always heard the principal theme/motif, luminously.
*Your expression of heartfelt gratitude: While the effect of your performance was so very powerful, the impact of your deep feelings of appreciation and gratitude for people who have supported you hit my heart's core, indeed, my "heart of heart" (echoing Hamlet to Horatio).
The other comment I made in my euphoric stupor leaving the recital hall was, "Where does she go from here?!?" Of course, I know that you'll keep incorporating new repertoire and do it all with finesse, passion, and panache. But, my comment captured the sense that all of us in the audience felt: This is TOWERING repertoire and performance.
What a gift to live in your community and experience your true genius for musical interpretation and performance, Tatsiana. Now it's my turn to be profoundly grateful.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! . . . and one more time, Thank you!!!

We so enjoyed your senior recital. I was in tears during the Toccata and Fugue. To see you overcoming such obstacles in your life and be the same confident Tat that we all know. And to see you push yourself to try organ as part of the repetoire, was marvelous. Your hard work is evident. Thank you for the gift.
